Who we are

Rocco Jacobs Holdings LLC (doing business as "Vintage Red Truck") operates the website vintageredtruck.com and rents a vintage pickup truck by the day for photography, events and productions. We are based in Tampa, FL 33603, United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your choices are. It applies to this website and to booking requests made through it.

Information you give us

When you request dates through the booking page, we ask for:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your company or studio name, if any
• The type of event or shoot, the dates you want, and any notes you add
• The delivery address or venue

You choose what to enter. We need at least a name, an email address and your dates to respond. Please do not put payment card numbers or other sensitive information in the notes field; we never ask for them on this site.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web server and the reverse proxy in front of it record standard request logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site running, to detect abuse and to fix errors. They are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking pixels or social media plug-ins on this site.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only for our own staff: a session cookie that keeps an administrator signed in to the booking dashboard. Visitors and customers are not given any cookies. There is therefore no cookie consent banner, because no non-essential cookies exist.

How we use your information

• To check availability, prepare a quote and respond to your request
• To confirm, schedule, deliver, collect and invoice a rental
• To contact you about your booking, including changes caused by weather or site access
• To keep business and tax records
• To protect the site and our equipment, and to comply with the law

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Third parties that receive some data

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the site and the booking service:

• Address lookup: when you type a delivery address on the booking page, that address (and nothing else about you) is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service to estimate the distance from our base and price delivery. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy for how they handle requests.
• Fonts: pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details for that request.
• Hosting: the site and its database run on a server rented from a hosting provider in the United States. The provider stores the data but does not use it.
• Email: if we email you about your request, the message passes through our email provider.
• Payments: card payments are taken by Stripe or PayPal on their own secure pages. They receive your name, email and payment details and handle them under their privacy policies; we receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of a card, never the full number. Check and wire payments are handled by our bank.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of people or property.

How long we keep it

Booking requests that are declined, cancelled or never confirmed are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed rentals, invoices and payment confirmations are kept for up to 7 years because tax and accounting rules require it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email zach@threebins.com or call or text 217-454-3755. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Utah) have these rights by statute; we extend the same rights to everyone.

The site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because it does not track visitors in the first place.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Booking data is stored in an access-controlled database that only our staff can reach with a password. We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this website; payment is arranged separately once a booking is confirmed. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Card payments happen on Stripe's or PayPal's pages, both of which are PCI DSS certified. Because no card data passes through our site, a breach of our site could not expose your card.

Children

This site is for adults arranging rentals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted a request, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
